SOLAGLAS APPOINTS DIVISIONAL TECHNICAL MANAGER

One of the most experienced technical experts in the industry has joined Solaglas Contracting as its first Divisional Technical Manager.

John McComb joins the company from Kawneer Global Special Projects where he was Business Unit Manager. Prior to that, John was at Reynaers for 12 years and was latterly employed as Technical Director.

In his new role, John will work closely with Solaglas Contracting’s customers and Commercial Managers to assist with design and value engineering, and to help minimise risk on technically complex projects. John will be based at Solaglas’ head office in Binley, Coventry.

Solaglas Contracting – a division of Solaglas – operates a national network of six businesses which provide specialist design, manufacturing and installation services for external façade and internal glazing products. Solaglas Contracting is the largest UK-based installer of façades with sales of £51-million in 2008.
