Solaglas Contracting North is the first Solaglas business to achieve ISO 14001 accreditation. 

As part of an ongoing strategy to minimise its negative environmental impact, Solaglas Contracting is aiming to attain ISO 14001 accreditation across all businesses by the end of 2009.

The internationally accepted standard provides a best practice framework for the creation of an Environmental Management System (EMS).

The BSI auditors recently assessed Contracting North’s EMS and presented the business with the prestigious accreditation; a great achievement for the business, for they are the first in the Solaglas group to achieve this status.

Audits of the other Solaglas Contracting businesses will follow during 2009.
