Solaglas Structural Contracting has completed works at Liverpool Lime Street railway station for J Murphy & Sons in time for the city’s 800th birthday celebrations.

Part of a larger refurbishment project, Solaglas removed glass from an existing screen, cleaned it and reinstalled it in new steel frames in another part of the station. The new screen measures 40 metres long and consists of 66 individual panels. It separates platform 9 from the car park.
