Solaglas Contracting South has won the contract for a £800,000 PFI project to provide a comprehensive windows and curtain walling package for the specialist language college Whitefield Fishponds Community College in Bristol.

As a result of the team's performance, contractor Skanska has subsequently awarded them the £1.3-million glazing contract at Hartcliffe School in Bristol.

Whitefield School features unusual detailing with windows situated outside of the structural openings. Solaglas Contracting South was required to develop a glazing solution that could satisfy this design requirement and will now install the same system at Hartcliffe School.
