The network has sealed unit manufacturing facilities at 8 sites across the mainland. The capabilities are tailored to the requirements of the customer base in the domestic, commercial and public sector markets we service. They include highly automated volume production through to hand-finished decorative unit production. Sealed unit options include:

• Quality marked hermetically sealed units to BS EN 1279. 
• Low-E double glazed units with a 1.1 centre-pane U-value (at 100% gas filled, or 1.2 at 90%) and a very neutral appearance. 
• Solar control units, self-cleaning glass units, acoustic insulating units, textured glass units… 
• Spandrel panels and insulated spandrel panels. 
• High specification conservatory roof glazing units. 
• Shaped, stepped and curved edges. 
• Georgian bars in a variety of designs and colours. 
• Bonded bars. 
• Leaded units. 
•  Decorative units (bevels and coloured films). 
•  A full range of cavity widths. 
•  Standard glass thicknesses of 4mm to 6mm and 6.4mm to 8.8mm 
•  Aluminium spacer bars. 
•  High performance warm edge spacer bars. 
•  Argon, Krypton and Xenon gas filling. 
•  Triple glazed units with centre-pane U-values as low as 0.4 W/m2K are possible.

Unit manufacturing is carried out in accordance with our detailed operating procedures to ensure a high and uniform standard of quality. All operators receive detailed, ongoing training on unit manufacture best-practise.

Production specification is standardised as far as possible across the various unit manufacturing sites, from materials used through to labelling of finished product, to ensure uniformity and consistency for customers who may take units from more than one site.
